The History of BMP

Bowdon Meat Processing

Established 2014

Bowdon Meat Processing was established in 2014 with the help of local ranchers and many surrounding community members. The state-of-the-art building was built to take the place of the old Locker Plant that was torn down in 2012.

Located in central North Dakota, just off Highway 200, Bowdon Meats is a state-inspected facility that processes mainly beef, but also bison, hogs, goats & lamb. BMP offers inspected and custom-exempt processing for individual producers and retailers. Monday's and Thursday's are slaughter days, and processing takes place up to 5 days each week.

Store hours are Monday-Friday 8am-5pm as we do offer some retail goods including beef snack sticks & jerky in a variety of flavors.

The Bowdon Meat Processing board and staff pride themselves in providing the best quality of services and look forward to continue serving our community and customers.
